Create a Community

Anyone Can Create

If your school or group doesn't have a Locomoo confession community yet, you can create one. It takes just a few minutes and you become the founding admin.

Step-by-Step

1. Go to Communities in the app
2. Tap "Create Community"
3. Enter your community name (e.g., "UCLA Confessions")
4. Add a description
5. Set community guidelines (optional custom rules)
6. Generate your invite code
7. Share the code with members

Naming Tips

• Use your school's official name or abbreviation
• Add "Confessions" to make it clear
• Example: "Stanford Confessions" or "MIT Confessions"

As Community Creator

As the founding admin, you can:

• Moderate confessions (remove inappropriate ones)
• Add other admins to help moderate
• Regenerate invite codes if needed
• Set community rules and guidelines

Growing Your Community

• Share the invite code in group chats
• Post about it on school social pages
• Tell friends to spread the word
• Engage actively early on to build momentum
