Invite Codes

What Are Invite Codes?

Invite codes are unique alphanumeric codes (like "UCLA2024" or "MIT-CONFESS") that grant access to private confession communities. Without the code, you can't join or see the community's confessions.

Getting an Invite Code

• Ask friends who are already members
• Check school group chats or Discord servers
• Look in school social media groups
• Ask classmates in person

Using a Code

1. Go to Communities section
2. Tap "Join Community"
3. Enter the invite code
4. You're in! Start confessing

Sharing Codes

Once you're a member, you can share the invite code with others who should join. Be thoughtful about who you share with - the code determines who can access the community.

Code Security

• Admins can regenerate codes if they leak publicly
• Old codes stop working when regenerated
• Members already in aren't affected
